FOX HUNT

WHEN YOU ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE, LOOK STRAIGHT AHEAD, KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT -- SAY NOTHING!

Good advice.

  2. I do appreciate the sober, statesman-like countenances on these canines. I think the world could benefit from more forward-looking leadership of this kind.

Have a great weekend Sue -

  3. Rick walked in and started to laugh.
Of course, he spotted the fox right
off. I didn't even see it. He says
I need a hearing aid, do you think
    I need glasses too?

Anyway, we had a good laugh and that
    is good medicine.

  4. Susie Q: No hurry on that list. Glad you liked the photo. It will be a sweet weekend for us, because tomorrow we are taking several of our grandchildren to a historic farm in our community.

Paul: Yes, isn't it amazing what we can learn from a bunch of dogs. :-)

Sharon: You don't need glasses. It is just that when you do what everyone else is doing, like the fox in the photo here, and you keep your mouth shut, you become inconspicuous. Nobody notices you.

You have a lovely blog, brimming with life and the honoring of life. It feels good to be here.

  7. Don't feel bad, Sharon. I didn't see the fox at first either, but after a second it stood out. I have also not seen that there are two SusieQs until this post. =)

  8. Heh heh, that wouldn't be the first time the fox fooled the dogs. A few miles south of here near Longwood Gardens they Fox hunt with dogs(no kill). During the fall you can hear them with their large packs of dogs. That is a funny picture Susie:-)

  9. As the old saying goes, "Can't see the forest for the trees". Also, "If you can't beat them, join them".

  11. Tom: I have to remind myself that there is a fox in this photo; it looks so much like a dog at first glance.

Jenni: I know that a fable exists in which the fox is outfoxed by some other animal, but for the life of me I can't remember the fable. Do you remember it?

Lucy: I think this fox was definitely trying to blend in so as to go unnoticed.

Nancy: So good to have you back blogging again. Glad the wedding was nearly perfect.
